John DeLorenzo – Mentor and Multiple Subject Area Expert

Born in Tucson Az. His father was saddle maker, with many Hopi close family and friends inspired his interest in making bows and arrows, hunting, and horses.

As adult, John lived in the Philippines for four years and in Japan for eleven building Intentional Christian schools. John is a father of adult children having raised six boys and a daughter, all are doing well!

John has lived in Idaho for the twenty-five years as a horse trainer for others and his own equine. Using equine he worked packing gear and game. Hound hunting mountain lions and bears are something he enjoys doing with friends. He is also skilled in carpentry and woodworking.

Co-founder of the Mountain School in Bellevue Idaho where he taught animal husbandry, wilderness skills, woodworking, leatherwork etc. John is a Idaho Department of Fish and Game hunter Ed Instructor. John trained under John and Gerri McPherson, primitive and wilderness skills author and owners of Prairie Wolf Primitive and Survival School. John participated in Rabbit Stick Primitive Skills Gathering and is now an instructor.

John used his behind scenes primitive survival/Wildlife expert for Discovery Channel Dual Survival show and has many campfire stories to hear.
