Constrictors or Binding Knots

To make a bundle or to close up a sack you want a knot that will be easy to tie alone, stay tied when the sacks or bundles are thrown around, and easy to untie.

Double Constrictor

Once you learn to tie the double Constriction you will be surprized how often it fills just the right need from low mass knocking locator on your bow string, securing sacks, preventing a rope from fraying, or bundling brush. On the farm I use it everyday when feeding the horses.

Tying the Double Constrictor

"If you believe you only need to know one knot you have the same value as a mechanic whose only tool is a pair of vice grips."
